Our Music
We are a traditional marching band and our members age from 8 to 20 from the Junior, Company and Senior Sections. We play a variety of Instruments Snare Drums. Tenor Drums, Bass Drums, Cymbals, Tambourines and B Flat Valve Trumpets. This year we took part in the Nation Marching Bands Competition at Stoke on Trent and came second in the Novice Class and Won Best Percussion in the Novice Class.
We have taken part in the National Marching Championship in Stoke this year and in previous years over since 1992.
We also take part in alot of parades during the year. These are Mayor's parade, Scout's Parade, Good Friday, Boy's Brigade Batallion, Cookson Parade and Rememberance Sunday Parade. Also play at various venues such as sheltered accomodation and care homes.
